Below you will find the majority of symptoms associated with High-Functioning Autism (HFA), also referred to as Asperger’s. The HFA child will not usually have all of these traits. We will look at the following categories: sensory sensitivities, cognitive issues, motor clumsiness, narrow range of interests, insistence on set routines, impairments in language, and difficulty with reciprocal social interactions. The book is great. My wife is Japanese, and I'm American - we have 3 kids together living in Japan. Our middle son, Kylee has aspergers, and he turns 8 here at the end of the month.
Quite an inspiration for us both to find this website and have your book. It's been quite a challenge going thru the maze of both health care systems to get Kylee the help (and our family unit help), but we've perservered and its guys like you that are the
