The ability to understand his/her own emotions; the impact of those emotions on others; and the meaning beneath the anger is what many call social intelligence. I often tell kids and families that I'm teaching them people smarts. They've already got the brain smarts down. My Aspie holds it togethe...Very useful information. My Aspie holds it together pretty well most days but when she does have a meltdown, poor peer interactions and self esteem issues are usually at the root of it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
