At age 4, he was diagnosed with HFA and AD/HD<br /> None the less, I have been trying for 3 years now to get his school to either have an IEP or even a 504Plan put in place for him. His school has denied all 5 of my requests because they say that he is progressing just fine. I have even included recommendations from both his psychologist and psychiatrist along with both of his therapists, O.T. and P.T. Nothing but more denials. My last attempt was in June, and the school made it a point to bring up the 27 days that I took him out of school early for doctors appts and for his therapy appts. He wouldn't have to get out of school early if the school would have him do his therapy at school !!!! I'm getting so frustrated and I am ready to get a legal opinion on this mess !!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
