This year though we have an option we didn't have last year- he was accepted at an Online school that is linked to a local public school-
Offering the choice of computer lab or homeschooling or a combination of both. I hoping this is going to be the key!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1527055659904040434.post-50025950963020690452011-09-01T07:04:31.073-07:002011-09-01T07:04:31.073-07:00Wendy Layne Windrich

Even though they seemed simple to us, they felt that because our daughter was not failing in her classes that she should not receive such accommodations. After failed attempts of getting the school to understand, we wasted no time and quickly went to "Online Public School" - K12 Texas Virtual Academy. Now I'm in charge of the accommodations she requires which are few but involve "recess, lunch time, and other unstructured time". We are loving online public school.. I work from home and she has teachers and sits at her desk in my office and is able to do all her work without the distractions of the other kids and social issues in the classroom.
20 hours ago · Like · 1 personAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
